Gay Parents & Easter Eggs

Well, after about 45 not so subtle reminders that I should blog, I have decided to talk about the fact that I LOVE this: http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/04/13/eastereggroll.ap/index.html

Apparently, thousands of gay and lesbian parents are getting together to hoard as many of the 16,000 thousand or so tickets available for the official White House Easter Egg Roll as they can.
Why you ask? Let's ask their spokesperson, Jennifer Chrisler.

"The message is that gay and lesbian families are everywhere in this country," said Chrisler. "We care about the same things that all parents care about: providing our children with every opportunity and every experience possible."

Let me just say that I think this is awesome. It kinda makes me want to rent a child (you need a kid in order to get into the event) and go just to see George and Laura there with THOUSANDS of gays and lesbians.

Also--just a note. If you don't already know---Bassi, Danger and I are all playing Fantasy Baseball in the "Beer and Pancakes" league. We're all doing rather poorly---but I wanted to be clear that Im beating them both. Ill be sure to keep everyone posted as a surge up the standings.

ugh, eel, i just had to drop bernie williams from my roster, which was a very painful and difficult decision. but he wasn't pulling his weight, and after three weeks on the bench, it was just time to let him go.

of course, if this was fantasy making-out-with-baseball-players instead of fantasy baseball, you know bernie would be my first round pick. he'd bat clean-up, know what i mean?

ew, i'm grossing myself out.
hopefully this gets me out of 9th place.
