breakfast, lunch, and dinner of champions

welcome back, blogger

don't give me shit about how long it's been. i've been busy vacationing and working, so i don't want to hear it.

can i tell you how much i dont' care about the world cup? SO MUCH. i enjoy sports as much as the next gal, but come on. soccer a.k.a. football has been played all year long, in every country, since the beginning of time, and no one gave a hoot (you heard me) until now. all the people who are hopping on the world cup bandwagon now are just a bunch of poseurs. there, i said it.

you know what i do care about a great deal? run's house. yeah, reverend run (of Run DMC) has a reality show and it's awesome. so good, in fact, that i would go so far as to say that run's family is the huxtable family for the next generation. but instead of being fictional, the people in run's house are REAL. plus, they have a son named "diggy." discuss.

Hey, I'm all for bad reality shows that feature washed up celebrities -- particularly when said celebrities were once at the forefront of a musical revolution, but still, for Run's family to be the next Huxtible family, wouldn't people have to actually watch Run's House? I mean the Cosby Show, on anyone's list, has to be considered one of the five greatest sitcoms of all time.

i agree completely about cosby show. i always wanted to be a huxtable, always will.
i dont' think run's house will have the cultural impact that the cosby show did, but i'm just saying there are parallels between the two.
for example, run's interactions with kids are very cosby-esque. of course i'm talking about the "kato mate" episode.
also: 5 huxable kids, 5 simmons kids. coincidence? well, probably.

whatever, it's a great show. everyone should watch it.

God is Love,
Rev Run
